Inspired by nature, Artimus Robotics is taking a radically new approach to creating robots driven by artificial muscles. Our technology, termed HASEL artificial muscles, utilizes soft or flexible materials in combination with hydraulic fluids to create simple, lightweight, and high-performance electromechanical actuators. HASEL artificial muscles made by Artimus Robotics will enable transformative products and solutions for linear actuators, soft grippers, haptic surfaces, wearable technologies and autonomous robots.
Beeper Avionics Inc.
3D Auditory Traffic Alert System (ATAS)
Beeper Avionics, Inc. is working with Airbus Helicopters to develop ATAS, an intuitive collision avoidance system that uses 3-Dimensional audio alerts to direct pilots to incoming aircraft. This is a fully certified system to be commercially available for its line of helicopters. It is designed for use in any human-piloted aircraft. ATAS was designed with the intent of improving upon the well-known weaknesses of existing collision avoidance systems. Perhaps the greatest advantage of the system is that pilots can focus their eyes outside the aircraft to track the threat, rather than having to repeatedly reference a small screen on the instrument panel.
DataPro Tools
Bluetooth Connected Tape Measuring Systems
DataPro Tools brings linear measuring into the 21st century. Our Bluetooth-connected tape measures make data available in real-time, without having to read a scale or transcribe a number. DataPro’s family of smart software and hardware is the most reliable way to capture and use data.
Lot Spot Inc.
Advanced Computer Vision for Object Detection and Tracking
Lot Spot’s software was developed in-house and is proprietary to our company. It allows a camera to autonomously track aggregate lot occupancy. With this information we can provide lot occupancy data, along with a variety of other metrics, at a minimal cost. In terms of our hardware, we are currently on our third iteration of hardware. This hardware and software allows us to overcome our competition. With our current technology we can provide more than 80% of the valuable information provided by our competitors for 33% of the cost per month. At Lot Spot, we believe less is more.
Lupine Laboratories
Oil Infused Surfaces as a Robust High-Temperature Slippery Interface
Lupine Laboratories will present the concept of an oil-infused surface to demonstrate the benefit of slippery surfaces that retain their properties after extended time in extreme temperatures and in contact with sticky substances. Superhydrophobic and slippery surfaces are very fragile can be beneficial in specific circumstances.
Pagedip
Pagedip™
Pagedip has reimagined digital authoring environments to bridge the communication gap between content creators and the end consumer. The company’s solution allows organizations to ensure employees and/or customers always have the most recent versions of any document, presenting it in a way that facilitates understanding and strong communication by inviting users to navigate content according to their own style of learning. Using telescoping content called BinksTM readers can access a variety of additional content and media elements from holograms to 360 images all without ever having to leave the page.
PharmaJet Inc.
Needle-Free Jet Injection™ Technology
PharmaJet Inc. has developed innovative needle-free injection technology platforms for administration of liquid medicines and vaccines. Optimized for patient comfort, the spring-powered injector creates a fast fluid stream that penetrates in less than 1/10th of a second. The auto-disable needle-free syringes eliminate needle risks and disposal. Optimized for fixed dose delivery today for all three tissue depths (IM/SC, 0.5 mL; and ID, 0.1 mL), with numerous regulatory awards, the technology has clinical claims of generating a superior immune response using fractional dose, and extensive clinical data demonstrating superior immune responses to needle based delivery for nucleic acid vaccines and cancer therapeutics.
Reference Technologies Inc.
Hummingbird® XRP (eXtended Range Payload)
Reference Technologies, Inc. has developed a unique, long endurance and heavy lift VTOL unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The Hummingbird® XRP is a hybrid powered, fully autonomous and highly customizable UAV designed to accommodate extraordinary mission requirements. Capabilities such as; deployment of up to four independently operated parasitic drones, eight hard points for independently managed payloads in excess of 30 pounds, a flight duration in excess of six hours and a range in excess of 300 miles are all features inherent within the capabilities of the Hummingbird XRP.
Scratch Digital and Data
Digital Knowledge Layer
Scratch Digital and Data has developed a way to leverage the Digital Knowledge Layer built to augment human intelligence and allow all users to become domain experts. We separate the structure of data from content allowing for dynamic relationships and interdependencies between content and concepts. Our Artificial Intelligence based applications leverage the Digital Knowledge Layer for knowledge based applications in IoT, Security and emerging data driven markets.
Solstar Space Co.
Commercial WiFi and Two-Way Data Services for Suborbital and LEO Payloaders
Solstar Space Co. provides commercial WiFi and two-way data services between payloaders on Earth and their payloads, machines, and colleagues in space, via smartphone or any internet connected device. This capability demonstrated the first commercial WiFi service in space on board Blue Origin’s New Shepard Crew Capsule on April 29, 2018 and posted the first ever commercial Tweet from space that day, and again on July 18, 2018.
Spectrabotics
Spectralytics
Spectrabotics delivers advanced Artificial Intelligence classification tools for spectral imagery analysis of Multi and Hyperspectral imaging systems. Our analytics engine is flexible and adaptable to almost any imaging sensor and provides results in near-real-time for detailed material classification. Applications of the technology include the detection of defects and anomalies, remote classification of surface compositions, species detection, and quality control of materials. Using cutting-edge advancements in Machine Learning our engine can adapt and expand into new industries and applications using remote sensing technologies from imaging and non-imaging systems.
