    BlueSpace.ai Inc.

    BlueSpace.ai – autonomous vehicle software

BlueSpace.ai's software leverages next-generation 4D sensors to precisely measure in real-time the full objects' range of six-degrees-of-freedom motion and velocity in its surroundings and of its own movement. Thus, it is a key enabler for more reliable autonomous systems. Traditional autonomous vehicle software requires external dependencies such as GPS and millions of miles of training data to make decisions based on inferences. However, vehicles equipped with BlueSpace's software can quickly react with certainty for immediate safer deployment in any new environment for safety-critical or routine on-earth and exoplanetary autonomous operations, such as landing mechanisms, crew, or heavy equipment transport.

    Full Cycle Bioplastics

    New Technology for Space-Age Packaging

Full Cycle’s technology addresses three global issues— plastic pollution, food waste, and climate change— by transforming organic waste into Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) biopolymers. PHA is a naturally occurring polymer with material characteristics similar to petroleum-derived polymers. These characteristics make it a highly adaptable, non-toxic, and compostable replacement for oil-based plastics. The company uses a natural process to convert mixed feedstocks into consistent and fully tailorable product types. The Full Cycle process does not rely on cultivated food crops, arable land or GMO bacteria to produce PHA. Full Cycle’s PHA is a low-cost, low-carbon alternative to the existing global materials palette.

ThermaSat – a solar thermal propulsion system for SmallSats

ThermaSat is a revolutionary solar thermal propulsion system for SmallSats. Its low power, high thrust, and minimal impact to the spacecraft bus enables missions previously unrealized by SmallSat users. Using a novel optics and thermal capacitor system, ThermaSat can produce thrust from superheated steam from its inert water supply. With non-hazardous, low-pressure propellant, and limited to no power draw, ThermaSat is suitable for virtually all launch vehicles. Operations in very-low Earth orbits, lifetime extensions, orbital maneuvers, debris dodging, and End-of-Life operations can all be realized with the ThermaSat propulsion system.

    MITO Material Solutions

Thermally Conductive and Electrically Insulating Composites (TCEIC)

With the incorporation of electrically insulating, thermally conducting composite materials, NASA can develop and integrate a sufficient energy storage system into aircraft structures for use in high-altitude, high-voltage power transmission to significantly reduce the aircraft’s weight and emissions. The problem with composites within this application is that they do not perform at the level needed. The solution is to use MITO’s dispersible, safe, cost-effective hybrid graphene-based additive, E-GO. E-GO can increase composite performance between 20-135% above baseline. Pairing it with a fluorinated graphene oxide derivative will improve the composite’s mechanical, thermal and electrical performance.

Cortical Bone Mechanics Testing – a non-invasive and radiation-free way to measure bone strength

2.3 million fractures occur every year in the U.S. due to the presence of osteoporosis and bone disease. Current care continues to be plagued with errors in diagnosis, leading to poor care-plans. Being able to identify patients at risk accurately is the crucial first step in preventing fractures. AEIOU Scientific has developed a non-invasive technology for improving the diagnosis and monitoring of osteoporosis. The company is positioned to have the only technology that accurately measures cortical bone stiffness, a key determinant in predicting bone fracture in the $1.03B bone densitometer market.

Space Ghost – a data orchestration platform optimized for artificial intelligence and machine intelligence

Data orchestration platforms take siloed data from multiple locations, combining, organizing, and making it available for data analysis tools to streamline data-driven decision-making. Parasanti Space Ghost is a data orchestration platform optimized for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Intelligence (AI/MI) on the edge. The Parasanti Dawn edge device connects to sensors, ingesting and aggregating data generated in zero bandwidth environments. The Dawn is a lightweight, ruggedized supercomputer capable of processing extreme amounts of data. The Parasanti NightFall data orchestration platform is built on open architecture and designed to filter data before sending it to containerized AI/ML algorithms running on the platform. NightFall enables any type of analytics and can trigger autonomous processes such as turning on heaters or sending notifications to the user .

    Predictiv Care Inc.

Predictiv DNA-based Digital Twin – enabling risk level assessment of thousands of diseases that have a genetic component

Predictiv is the most advanced DNA-based digital twin to predict and prevent diseases. Predictiv provides in-born disease risk analysis for 20,000 human genes and 16,000 diseases. Predictiv’s Artificial Intelligence engine capability has been validated through the FDA’s COVID-19 Risk Factor Modeling Challenge. Predictiv can make DNA-based digital twins for NASA’s astronauts, ensuring the best health conditions for them on Earth and space by bringing the most relevant genetic information in real-time before presenting signs and symptoms and when early symptoms appear.

    United Aircraft Technologies Inc.

Sensor Network, AI, and Augmented Reality for Isolating Wiring Faults

United Aircraft Technologies (UAT) and Beacon Works (EmbraerX) provide a solution and tool for the scattered maintenance data and procedures. Electrical systems are great diagnostic and performance tools since it is what gives power to entire platforms. UAT has created a network of sensors embedded into clamps for wiring harnesses that can monitor, assess, diagnose, and collect electrical wiring performance data. Using modules and scattered data approach, UAT can use real-time data to train algorithms to predict maintenance before a failure occurs and then display electrical faults through 3D visualization.
